This is a quick design I sketched for a front cover for series 1 of my cartoon strip. I wanted to make a nice front cover because it looks kinda silly if you put cartoon strips into series then forget to distinguish one from the other. So depending on whether or not I can be bothered to design a better one, I'll probably re-doing this one only neater and more accurate.
Btw, for the people who don't know, left to right is Aki, Kat, Veli and Sparrow. The cartoon revolves around a precarious situation in which a slightly suicidal goth, his dumber-than dumb room-mate with a cat smarter than he is, his ditzy blond crush and his psychotic stalker who thinks she's a bird, find themselves living under the same roof in a small flat in London. I don't know whether or not to post my cartoon strip, because my friend reckons some people will nick the ideas. But I've already posted a few pictures of events which happen in it, and I'll no doubt be posting some more.
It looks like the cover suits well what you described the comic strip to be. I would be interested in reading the comic strip. Also I like the art style of picture well I guess I could say comic strip because I am assuming it will look like that in the comic too.
Yep, lol. It's the same style as the cartoon strip, only a lot messier

"...the Neptunian underworld king unleashed a barrage of eels from his abdomen, and each of the eels was carrying a zippo lighter, and as they flew across the night sky, they spelled out (in fire): 'Tara, can I borrow your eyeliner please?'"
Quick?
Wow, this looks really good to me already. By what you've described to me on each one, it seems in my mind that youve caught and drawn them all perfectly. There clothes are really cool, and you got all the body proportions spot on. I love the line shading you used too. I think it would go great as a cover, each character is well enough detailed to match their personality traits, but its not too over-crowded. Great job!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
The Cutting Edge is a weekly article that features brand new selected high quality art products that caught our eyes. Check out the cutting edge prints some of your fellow artists have submitted in the past week!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example.
